The Department of Computer Science have been a part of the College right from its inception in the year 2002.The department offers job oriented programmes like BCA, BSc Computer Science (3 year UG) and BSc Cyber Forensics. There is a placement cell which provides training sessions to give adequate exposure to the students to equip them to face interviews with courage and confidence. The department has a comprehensive curriculum on topics related to Computer Software / Hardware and the latest technologies with facilities for practical learning. The department also provide Carrier guidance to students.
• Certificate Courses, aimed at imparting basics of computer fundamentals to students belonging to other streams of study.
• Bridge Courses, aimed to bridge the gap between the subjects studied at plus two level and subjects they would be studying at graduation level.
The Computer Science Students & Teachers Association (CSA) has been actively contributing in organizing various activities, technical and non-technical, every year.
The department has an alumni association named “Rejoice”, all teachers and former students are the members of this association.
A good number of students are placed in reputed companies in ever year.
